Keeping your eye-line
Eye-line is the direction or location of where an actor looks when being filmed. Generally, during an audition, actors should not look directly at the camera (unless given specific direction to do so). Rather, they should pick a point slightly off camera and continue to look at that spot. It acts as if the actor is talking to or interacting with someone.
